MEGA157 makers warn of ‘strict legal action’ against footage leaks
The production team behind the upcoming Telugu film Mega157, starring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara and directed by Anil Ravipudi, has issued a firm warning after footage from a romantic song sequence shot in Kerala leaked online. The unauthorized clips, shared within 24 hours of filming, were described as a “serious breach of trust” and a violation of intellectual property rights. Producers Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments emphasized that anyone sharing, uploading, or distributing such content will face “strict legal action under copyright infringement and anti‑piracy laws.” The film is scheduled to finish shooting by October and aims for a grand release during Sankranti (Pongal) 2026 in the Telugu states.
