Italy launches Operation All Clear against major streaming piracy network
Italian authorities have launched Operation All Clear (Operazione Tutto Chiaro), a major crackdown on a sophisticated streaming piracy network known as CINEMAGOAL. Investigators say the platform illegally provided access to premium streaming services, sports broadcasts, movies, and television content by exploiting authentication credentials and subscription systems. The operation involved coordinated raids across Italy, the seizure of servers and digital infrastructure, and action against dozens of individuals linked to the network. Authorities estimate that the piracy scheme generated significant illicit profits while causing substantial financial losses to broadcasters, streaming platforms, and rights holders. The case is being presented as one of Italy’s largest recent anti piracy actions and highlights increasing efforts by governments and media companies to combat digital content theft.
